Sorry I meant to respond on this thread, another issue is that English is much more rhyme poor that Russian, so that creates a set of challenges. I've seen some translations that try to rhyme and jump through hoops to get there. Others translate literally, which is fine-ish, but not so much on the language-beauty side.
