It's odd. I've been traveling and it varies by state. In Colorado for example, when you're buying groceries, the clerk will ask you what you have going over the weekend. It freaked me out at first because that doesn't happen on the east coast. I kind of like it, but I sometimes make up weekend plans before buying milk so I don't seem pathetic.
