I watched a few episodes of the Cops.

I was always surprised at the number of people arrested who were not wearing pants. I think if I were in that situation, I me be able to make a compelling case to the arresting officer that allowing me to put on pants would serve both of our interests.

I'm not sure. I could be over-estimating how convincing I would be in that situation.
